June 9, 1996 was one of the rare days the Chauga ran. Though they call it a river, it behaves more like a creek. Some say the Chauga only runs at night, because it’s so hard to catch. The level this day was 5″, which is pretty low, so it probably did run the night before…
This was my first trip down the Chauga.
