1997 – Sometime in early 1997, Milt Aitken & Jim Smolka headed up to Overflow Creek, ran it and filmed. Level was a low 1.1 ft, but it was still a blast! I don’t remember why we stopped filming at Gravity, but we did, so this is a short clip. I do remember that I turned my boat over to dump out water and that put a stick through my airbag. But we soldiered on. I filmed some of the scenery there because Overflow is one of the most beautiful creeks I’ve every paddled. Overflow Creek flows in the Chattooga River below the Highway 28 bridge.
