I was at the Chattooga alone that day as I just wanted to paddle. The river was up at 2.8 feet, so I was thinking to run Section 3 since I’d never done Section 4 that high. Some boaters from Wisconsin were paddling the SouthEast and talked me into guiding them down. I told them I’d never paddled it that high before, but they just wanted to know where the major rapids were. So off we went. 7 Foot Falls was a little different. Raven Chute was very different as was Five Falls. But we ran it uneventfully even in my 16 ft Dagger Dimension.
