Clear Creek into Obed River Open Boats Only Trip – Raw Video 1996

Mar 22, 1996 – Milt Aitken, Don Kinser & Steve Frazier in manly open canoes ran Clear Creek into the Obed.  It was a comfortable low stress run…  But we camped on the Lily Bluffs in the deer moss.  Next time I was there, they’d fenced it and put in walkways and civilized it.  We looked for the comet before crashing in our tent, but we didn’t find it.  Nature called me in the middle of the cold, cold night.  I got outside a looked up and realized why we hadn’t seen it.  It was the whole sky!  Earth was in or very near the tail.  It was a glorious sight.
