August 18, 1996 – I wanted to film some of the skill building moves on the Chattooga.  So, I filmed us working the eddies in Deliverance Rock Rapid.  Eddy hopping is basic skill that breaks rapids down into smaller moves.  Being able to catch eddies in rapids gives a boater a better view of the rapid to decide the next line, and also means they can catch one and pull out on shore when needed.  After the eddy exercise, we proceeded down the river and filmed 5 Falls.
