First Descent of Cinquapin Falls, Little River Canyon, AL – Raw Video 1996

1996 – Steve & Milt decided to get in a new run, Cinquapin Creek, which Don & Milt had already hiked.  It is absurdly steep and starts with this 18 ft or so waterfall.  We recruited some buttboaters, but at least one of them hit a ledge at the bottom, so they all bailed on the trip.  This was not a good initial run for only 2 open boaters, so we had to bail also.  We got the 1st descent of this drop, but it was a few more years before Mike Huff and party were the first to run the whole creek.  Still, a clip of this drop made it into Tales of the Paddlesnake.
