Paddling Little River Canyon in Manly Open Canoes – Raw Video 1997

February 23, 1997 – This is the Suicide Section of LRC, in a switch from the usual roles, Don Kinser had a good day this time and Milt Aitken provided the carnage.  The (no longer present) Hwy 35 gauge said 7 inches, and the completely unreliable USGS gauge near the mouth of the canyon read 1900cfs.  I tried to correlate the numbers between the top & bottom of the canyon.  That never worked, in part because of the distance and feeder creeks between them, and also because the USGS guage was in a part of the river where cobblestones moved around changing the profile of the bottom of the river.
