Spring 1995 – Suckerfish that think they’re salmon! This happened on our paddling pilgrimage to West Virginia in 1995. We stayed at a mountain property with a pond down below. And apparently it was breeding time for the sucker fish. They all swam upstream to have a big orgy & spawn like salmon. I was actually wading through fish. Very strange.
Sometimes, ya gotta have a little downtime from paddling!
