January 28, 1996 – Mike Camp, Steve Frazier, Milt Aitken, Don Kinser and a few other brave souls paddled Section 4 after a big rain event at 3.5ft. That is a beefy level! Today the carnage was provided by Mike Camp, who got his ass handed to him in Bull Sluice, and Steve Frazier who managed to do a mystery move in a 14 ft open canoe at Raven Chute. It was an exciting day on the river and an excellent time to have a video camera! Mike Camp attempted to run the double drop at Bull Sluice, but the current denied him and he got shoved into the hole for an ass whuppin. Out of respect for Mike, Steve Frazier, Don Kinser, & Milt Aitken put in below the Bull in manly open boats, after Mike Camp demonstrated what not to do in a kayak.
